DreamHack has announced the first details about the Open event stop in London. Back in March, DreamHack announced plans for a large-scale Open circuit comprising seven events held across Europe until the end of the year. At the time, DreamHack revealed that London would stage one event, but the exact date and location remained unknown. It has now been announced that the 7,000-seat Copper Box Arena, a multi-sport venue used for the 2012 Summer Olympics, will play host to DreamHack's London stop, which will take place on September 19-20.
As in the previous DreamHack stops, the London event will play host to an eight-team CS:GO tournament, featuring a $40,000 prize pool. If you plan on attending DreamHack London as a spectator, you can purchase tickets for the event here. |
